Hopefully in the Age of Aquarius (an air sign) it will be revealed how to re-harmonize. Perhaps a new planet like Tyche or Vulcan is already changing Virgos (I noticed several Virgos nominated at the academy awards, Wiz Khalifa is the worlds number 1 rapper right now despite the fact hes not very good, and Charlie Sheen is pretty much an international superstar). It feels like both a ****** up mistake as well as an exciting time and I just want to know your thoughts.

Sigh! Where does that leave you? First and foremost, you should check on university libraries near you (if any) and see if you can borrow it through inter-library loan. You should also alert used book sellers near you that you would like to be called if it comes through their shop, in fact that you would consider it a kindness if you were given right of first refusal. Then you should make every effort to get another volume or two at a more reasonable cost containing much of the same material. I have been similarly frustrated many times, and can commiserate fully, but it is simply too much to ask of a student to make such a financial outlay. I spent $400 once for a publication, but it was the entire 24,000 pages of the OED; for some things, we willingly make exceptions... always ask yourself whether the information contained in those covers runs up to the value of the book as a salable product. It seldom does. I go so far as to ask myself if what I gain in knowledge can be leveraged, through teaching, into at least as much money in return. If I cannot answer in the affirmative, I put it out of my mind and get on with things... I know it's hard to let go, God knows, but sometimes we have to. Good luck. Made to measure bridesmaid dresses that DON'T fit!?

Hi Everyone - Im really hoping someone can help me! Im one of three bridesmaids & we have a problem! Our dresses were purchased from a bridal shop in Reading, Berkshire but were to be made in China. We had our measurements taken in early February & our dresses finally landed yesterday. The material is lovely, the colour just as the bride wanted, the stitching is perfect ... problem is THEY DONT FIT! They are in no way, shape or form 'made to measure'!! The smallest bridesmaid has put on about 4lb since February, she was worried her dress wouldnt fit ... its hanging off her - the bust is way too big. Me (the middle one) have lost weight & inches with a personal trainer - my dress will not go anywhere near me - the gap between the two sides of the zip on the back are about 6" apart ... the other bridesmaid who had the biggest measurements, has lost 1 1/2 stone since February her dress only just fits (she thinks its too tight) and its about a foot too long!!! What the hell are we meant to do? to top it off, the bride wanted a shoulder piece on the dress (hard to explain) but basically a piece of material fixed from the bust going over the shoulder & fixing on the back ... she specifically said how wide, where abouts from & too ... the dress arrives with a rectangular piece of material that HOOKS on ... at no point did she ask for it to be detatchable! She is devastated, okay yes its all fixable (using a different seamstress) but its not the point, they are not made to measure, they are not even how she asked for them to be! to make matters worse, the supplier, a very agressive & unapproachable woman is refusing to speak to us saying she told us they would be unchangeable or refundable as they were made to measure. The bride does have a contract with this woman but as the dresses are not "fit for purpose" is there anything we can do? I personally would be demanding a refund as I wouldnt trust her to make the alterations! If anyone has any advice you could give us we would be eternally grateful - thankfully the wedding isnt for another 8 weeks & the seamstress we know is a lovely lady & says she'll fix it no problem but that doesnt mean this other woman should be able to get away with something like this! I really hope someone can help & look forward to hearing from you. Many thanks

What should I do when my fiances parents REFUSE to spend any money on our wedding?

I have been playing this game on my GameCube a million of times and I find it very easy. What I don't find is easy is when I come into the Twins' Bedroom. You know how they want to play that Hide&Seek game with you? And how you have to go out of the bedroom so they could hide in the boxes that you find out later when you go back into the room? Okay, so I have been playing Super Mario All-Stars on the SNES and I don't think anyone else has noticed but in the older version Mario had a red hat, RED OVERALLS, & A BLUE SHIRT. & Luigi had a green hat, GREEN OVERALLS & A BLUE SHIRT. Why does my bearded dragon hiss at me?

We just got this bearded dragon about 3 weeks ago(Luigi). I handle him daily and he has been really sweet. Well 2 days ago, we added another bearded dragon into the tank(Mario). Luigi had a big problem with Mario the frist day, but got over it the next. We rearranged the tank because Luigi was being very dominant. They are both still very little, but when I go to hold Luigi now, he puffs his tummy and hisses. What is the origin of the word Ur which used to be a thriving Metropolis in now day Iran?

I been having this question ever since I heard the name of the Town Ur in history class. Is that a coincident that Ur means lord in Hungarian? "The city's patron deity was Nanna, the Sumerian moon god, and the name and of the city is in origin derived from the god's name URIM" took this from wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ur ,but the point is that URIM if you replace the "I" with an "A" than you get URAM which means my/our Lord. I've been to over 25 weddings and luckily all those brides had the sense to not have an overt theme to their wedding. I've loved the color themes they each chose, the best ones were pink & sage and purple and silver. When man was a hunter gatherer nomadic type --early in prehistory--the religions were shamanistic in nature (nature worhip--mother earth worship etc). When man urbanized land became valuable-thus in order to survive--religions needed to have a fixed location in order to survive (temple etc). Temples cost money to mantain and build--so--the dogma would have to change to make sure the faithful remained faithful and contributed to the religion. Since a number of various codes (mostly sumerian, egyptian, and babylonian--predate the ten commandments and teach the same thing) existed before the bible was written--isn't it clear that the hebrew authors simply plagarized existing moral codes into instructive allegories like the ten commandments.

The Tripod Trilogy. Its an older series, written in the 1960s, but still very excellent. I had to read the first one for a class, got hooked and read the others. IMO Superstar Saga was a lot better. It really took the Mario series in a new direction, rather than Partners in Time, which was really just more of the same. In terms of gameplay, they are both pretty similar, but the addition of Baby Mario and Luigi in Partners in Time was a welcome change. However, I think the decision to keep Fawful from center stage was not a good idea, but then he did get a major role in the third game, so that's good.

If Mario slips on a banana on Mario Kart, he says "mama mia." That means "my mother" in Italian according to Google Translator which is very useful only for translating a word or few but not whole sentences or paragraphs. If Luigi slips on a banana, he says "mama mia" on Mario Kart 64 in a higher tone than Mario's and if Mario crashes into a fake item for example, he'll say "WOO WOO WOAH WOAH OW OW OW!" and if Luigi does it he says "Wow woah woah ow ow ow!"
