If the earth is only 6,000 years old why is their historical evidence going back much further?

Sanskrit, the oldest language, was created over 8,000 years ago. The Sumerian civilization was started around 7,000 years ago, and there is pottery going back over 15,000 years. Civilization was booming 6,000 years ago, it wasn't just created then.
