In need of ideas for a-level art?

I am about to begin a2 in art. we get to choose our own subject. I really need help as I want to be a set designer and thinking of making a model set. Only problem is I don't have any theme ideas. If I chose a film, say Corpse Bride by Tim Burton how would i be able to incorporate the idea into my work with just copying a scene from the movie???
